The new blog is up and running, woohoo!
The last time you all were informed about my life was right before I left to spend time with friends at the Jersey Shore. Final report: what a great vacation!
Being reunited with my besties was one thing, but living in a shore house with my favorite pals for a week was such a fabulous experience. From laying out all day to screaming at the TV during Family Feud to fun on the boardwalk to waking up the whole cranky house at 5AM to watch the sunrise to throwing some pasta in a bowl and hoping for the best when it came to dinner, #SLBeachWeek was the highlight of my summer so far.
I've been home from the beach for two weeks now, but the summer festivities aren't slowing down anytime soon. After a quick trip to Cleveland last Friday to see Mama Rei's friend perform in a Metallica cover-band (yes, I'm actually serious) and this past weekend in Canada with the fam, I'm now finalizing all of my preparations for my month-long trip to India.I'll be traveling to Asia for 30 days with eight other students to spend time in New Delhi, Jaipur, and Pune! In true Kirst fashion, I'll be blogging about our experiences as often as I can, and by that I mean whenever I have access to wi-fi. While I'm at the point of becoming really nervous, I also could not be more excited for what I'm sure will be an incredible trip. I can't wait!
The only thing standing between me and my flight to Philly on Sunday and a Monday departure to Qatar is an empty suitcase... I should probably get to packing.
The next time I'll be blogging you, I'll be in Asia. How neat is that?!
